CineMagic (Sirius XM)

Cinemagic is a channel on Sirius XM Satellite Radio Online devoted to film scores, as well as other music and dialogue from film soundtracks. Dave Ziemer is the programming director for the channel.
XM Cinemagic was on channel 73〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=XM Channel Lineup )〕 (prior to November 12, 2008, Cinemagic was on XM channel 27, and then it moved to 76). XM Radio Canada added the channel on April 1, 2007. As of 6 pm Eastern time on January 5, 2009, Cinemagic was no longer available on Sirius channel 81 (Dish Network 6081). It was replaced with The Strobe, which returned due to subscriber demand. Until February 9, 2010, it was on DirecTV channel 822 until all of the Sirius XM programming was dropped in favor of Sonic Tap. Due to a technology glitch with Sirius radios, channel 81 displayed "Cinemagic". On May 4, 2011, CineMagic was moved to XM channel 73 and Sirius internet radio channel 806.
SiriusXM announced on June 24, 2011 that Cinemagic will no longer be available except online via an additional subscription on channel 806 for both services. The final selection to be aired on the satellites leading up to midnight, July 4, 2011, was "So Long, Farewell (Auf Weidersehen, Goodbye)" from The Sound of Music. The bandwidth was then transferred over to BYU Radio on channel 143. Film scores played on the station are from films including Star Wars, The Lord of the Rings, Gladiator, Chinatown, The Incredibles, Gone With the Wind, Kill Bill Vol. 1&2, Moulin Rouge, Back to the Future, To Kill a Mockingbird, and Air Force One.
Sirius XM describes the channel as follows:
''Cinemagic captures the movie experience via score music, soundtracks and film clips. It's also a destination for movie news and information, plus interviews with stars and directors.''
